I'm an empathy educator who helps special needs parents and teachers develop communicative, collaborative relationships with their students, school communities, and one another. I believe empathy is the key to, well, just about everything positive and wonderful in this world! And I'm here to help you apply it to communication with the important people in your child or student's life.
My passion for empathy and helping special needs parents and teachers stems from my personal experience as a special needs mom of three. I quickly discovered that empathy was the key to connecting with my children, their teachers, and specialists. Empathy unlocked the doors and I wanted to help other families do the same, so I started doing this work and I absolutely love it.
In addition to my love for empathy and helping others, I've always been fascinated by communication and education. I earned my undergraduate degree in Communications in 2008 and am a degree candidate for Master’s of Education with a concentration in Moderate Disabilities and Special Needs (expected 2018). I've also worked in the non-profit sector since 2016 and have helped special needs families through workshops, 1:1 coaching, writing, and online community building for the past five years.
And now, I'm here to help you. Learn more about the services I provide or schedule a free consultation by clicking the links below!
